So my fate was decided: First Level of Hell - Limbo Charon ushers you across the river Acheron, and you find yourself upon the brink of grief's abysmal valley. You are in Limbo, a place of sorrow without torment. You encounter a seven-walled castle, and within those walls you find rolling fresh meadows illuminated by the light of reason, whereabout many shades dwell. These are the virtuous pagans, the great philosophers and authors, unbaptised children, and others unfit to enter the kingdom of heaven. You share company with Caesar, Homer, Virgil, Socrates, and Aristotle. There is no punishment here, and the atmosphere is peaceful, yet sad. The Dante's Inferno Test has sent you to the First Level of Hell - Limbo! Here is how you matched up against all the levels: Take the Dante's Divine Comedy Inferno TestTags: dante personality test Current Location: Home Current Mood: amused Current Music: The birds are singing.

"I love you"
When I say that "I love you", it is not because you have a sexy hot body. When I say that "I love you", it is not because you are the cleverest man I know. When I say that "I love you", it is not the passion with which you embrace life. When I say that "I love you", it is only the grace I see in your heart.
I want to be clear about this one little thing, this thing it is wrong to say. I do not love you in any physical way. I do not love you in any romantic way.
When I say that "I love you", it is in another context entirely. When I say that "I love you", it is not because I am in love with you.
I want to be clear about this one little thing. this thing it is wrong to say. I do not understand why it is wrong. I do not understand why this distinction.
So what Do I mean when I say that "I love you",
I mean that when I picture myself, falling madly in love, I do not picture you as the man sweeping me off my feet.
I mean that when I picture myself, past, present, and future, I feel your presents behind me, Supporting me, "loving" me
So what Do I mean when I say that "I love you",
I mean that when I picture myself, if I ever get married again, I do not picture you as the man placing a ring upon my hand.
I mean that I do not imagine you would make lifelong oath to me, I do not picture you as the man who tells me of his love.
It is easy really to understand, if we move past the TABOO words. you have already been there though sickness and heath, we have lived though the good times, and the bad times, and I know that I would freely risk my life for you, and yours. this remains true, always, till death do us part.
And there is not love stronger than that.
You are, MY FRIEND, My true and dear friend. And,
When I say that "I LOVE YOU", it IS for your friendship, When I say that "I LOVE YOU", it IS more true than any love affair could ever be, When I say that "I LOVE YOU", it is because you are you, and I am me
And no matter how many men I may love in my life, And no matter if I find my perfect match, And no matter how many years I may love him,
That can never come close to the love I feel for you, it is not the same kind of love, and as perfect as it may be. Friendship always finds a home in my heart.
"I LOVE YOU , My dearest FRIEND" even if it is wrong to say.

The Guild Cinema is presenting a FREE screening (on DVD) of Werner Herzog's Lessons of Darkness (1992, 54 minutes) for subscribers to their e-mail list. (I am one) The film will be shown at 11PM, Saturday August 4 Although this will be a private event, I am welcome to bring friends who are not on the mailing list. So who wants to go??? "For those of you who may not be familiar with the work of Werner Herzog, his most recent film, Rescue Dawn, is playing in theaters at the moment. Lessons of Darkness has several factors which make it a film of interest. One is that it is neither documentary nor fiction; Herzog has indeed filmed post-Gulf War Kuwait, but the context of the images is left to the viewer to interpret. The cinematography, whether aerial or on ground is stunning, often accompanied by haunting pieces by composers from Mahler to Arvo Part. The ravaged landscape itself provides a sublime reminder of the impact of human creatures upon the earth. On the "big screen," Lessons of Darkness should be quite amazing." Hope you can make it!
